What EAL is

An educational, experiential way to build awareness.

Mindfulness, executive functioning skills, and social and emotional intelligence. Equine-Assisted Learning offers opportunities to learn and practice through guided interaction and observation with horses.

It is not clinical therapy. It is a learning experience where the horse's presence helps participants slow down, notice patterns, and practice new ways of relating.

How sessions work

A structured experience with room for real reflection.

Mobile EAL is different from a simple visit. It uses Sir Camelot's presence, carefully chosen activities, and guided processing to help participants notice what is happening in themselves and in the group.

Set the goal

We clarify whether the session is about stress relief, communication, leadership, empathy, confidence, boundaries, or group connection.

Prepare the space

We bring the mobile setup to a qualified location and shape the environment around accessibility, comfort, weather, and safety.

Guide the activity

Participants may observe, problem-solve, practice nonverbal communication, reflect, or interact with Sir Camelot in a supported way.

Process the learning

The facilitator helps the group connect the experience to real-life communication, awareness, care, leadership, or emotional balance.

Close gently

We end with reflection, next-step language, cleanup, and any recommendations for follow-up programming.

No riding: sessions are ground-based and built around learning, observation, communication, and relationship.
Not therapy: EAL is educational and growth-focused. It does not replace clinical mental health treatment.
Certified professionals: Anthony Reynolds and Kelsey Soult are PATH Intl. certified professionals. Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.).

Mobile setup

The HeartSpace comes with us.

Traditional EAL happens at equine facilities. This mobile model brings Sir Camelot's portable corral, thoughtful setup, and guided activities directly to qualified locations. For Mobile EAL, HeartSpace supports facilitated participant time and interaction with Sir Camelot off his lead when the venue and session plan allow.

For participants: activities may include quiet observation, guided reflection, group problem-solving, communication exercises, and mindful interaction. Interactions remain guided and supervised.
For hosts: we coordinate space, accessibility, flow, breaks, weather options, and safety expectations before the visit.
